Things have been so busy here ever since my last post, but I’ve been knitting away almost every night, which makes me happy. I have been working on a beautiful gift for a friend, which the dogs approve of greatly:

I started and finished a sweater for my niece’s 2nd birthday. She’s only 4 months older than A so they are about the same size. Of course that meant I used A as a model:

I love how this came out. It is a little large on the sleeves but that was on purpose – I made size 3T when they are both wearing size 2 to make sure it lasts longer.

The pattern was wonderful (and fast) to knit and I just loved this yarn! So soft and the color is beautiful, IMO. Poor A had a black eye from playing with her sister too close to a kitchen counter!

And I got (went stash diving, actually) the perfect buttons for it too, so yay! 🙂

In non-knitting news, Halloween was awesome:

Hitchcock had a birthday (he didn’t get too close to that flame, I promise!):

Our trip to California was fun (and the wedding was beautiful! Congrats, D & O!):

And I finally revamped my business logo and website and have already done two shoots with two more scheduled for this week. I’m so excited to move from weddings into family shoots. It’s definitely a passion of mine. 🙂
