I can’t believe it’s been almost two weeks since my last post! I would normally feel like such a slacker, but considering all the things I’ve had going on, I don’t feel too too bad about it. Work and life will from time to time get in the way of blogging, but that’s a good [...] I am so excited to share this gorgeous vest with you! After making that mistake in the beginning, the vest was pretty smooth knitting. That doesn’t mean it was easy – far from it, actually, with all the intensive cabling and lots of stitch patterns in any one row – but it does mean [...] It’s how you go about fixing them that matters! The picture above is my latest WIP – a Wood Hollow Vest as a birthday present for my mom’s 55th birthday. The broken rib was looking quite wonky to me and I was wondering what was going on only to remember that I had changed [...] You read that right… 6 days! That is a definite record for me. I’d have to say that the Effortless Cardigan is appropriately named as it took little to no effort to knit it up. And I enjoyed knitting every minute of it! I love wearing it! It looks amazing in all three different [...] Up there is what the street below looked like after the snow stopped falling. We’ve had crazy snowfall for just under 24 hours of actual snowing time (no kidding!) but the wind is still blowing at 50mph gusts. Totally crazy and so so cold out there!
