I’ve always loved Halloween… all the kids trick or treating, the pumpkins, the candy, the costumes, the general sense of spookiness with a dose of fun mixed in. It’s a great holiday for sure, though for now we don’t really do much for it (we are looking forward to really getting into the spirit of it when we have kids… it’s the perfect kid holiday!) except watch scary movies and take the pups on a walk right as the sun is setting to see all the trick or treaters walking around!
We ran into the Park Slope Halloween Parade and stopped to watch. There were some awesome costumes!
These robots were so cool… there were little kids in them!
Love the movement in this one!
And then it was time to go home…
The pups really weren’t in the mood to sit and watch the parade anymore anyway… I think they were ready to cuddle on the couch and watch some zombies eat people. Which is exactly what we did!
How was your Halloween night? Hope it was plenty spooky with some sweet candy and fun times mixed in! 😀
You’ve captured Halloween so well…thanks for the great post. I especially love the first shot of the front door. Looks like they are ready for the trick-or-treaters. You’re brave, I would be hiding behind the dogs when the zombies ate the people!
That sounds kind of like out Halloweens here. Scary movies, pizza, and pup cuddling 🙂
Fun pictures! I decorated more for Halloween this year than I have in a while…partly because my grandson came to visit earlier in the month, and partly because I was letting the teens have a Halloween party on Saturday. That was fun! I even dressed up. I forgot how cool it is to pretend to be someone totally different than who I am! 🙂
