This weekend I saw the mega-moon eclipse on Sunday night after putting the girls to sleep. I was worried I wasn’t going to be able to as it had been cloudy all day but it broke up enough later on that it was visible.
I love how red the moon looked and it was great to get a couple of shots with the clouds too, although I wish my pictures had turned out better. Obviously I should have run to the basement to get my bigger lens, but I was too lazy! 😛
I also got to take some pictures of my girls and I love how these two beauty shots of A turned out!
And here they are laughing at Kubrick (he was being very silly, trying to get petted as I was trying to take pictures):
And A giving her doll kisses:
I didn’t get any knitting done since last Friday as I hurt my wrist somehow on Saturday and I didn’t want to chance it. So I opted to spend my knitting time coloring instead, which is something I loved to do when I was younger. I know that adult coloring is all the rage nowadays, but whatever, I enjoyed it! 🙂
It’s not perfect, but I like how it turned out, especially as it was my first foray into coloring since probably high school. I am getting back to knitting now that my wrist is better, but I will probably do one coloring project a month for fun from now on.
Hope you’re having a good week!
Love all the pictures!
Great shots of the moon. It was too cloudy here in FL. to see it. The girls are getting so big! Great smiles.
I love photos where people are just being themselves without poses or forced expressions. The ones with your girls laughing are beautiful! 🙂
And I’ve recently joined the coloring express too! It’s weird how good it makes me feel to see some color start to appear on what used to be a sad black and white picture. Your cat is so cool!
Love your photos. They are so natural!
The moon shots rock! The girls are starting their modeling careers early 😉 The coloring is cool too 🙂
