While I was at the Spring Fling I wanted to knit something that was mindless and easy to work on while chatting with friends. Enter Daybreak! I hope you all had a great New Year’s Eve. Hubby and I stayed in, played video games, ate appetizers for dinner and drank Champagne. It was a wonderful night! And then we watched the fireworks over the Statue of Liberty, which looked awesome as you can see in the [...] Up there is what the street below looked like after the snow stopped falling. We’ve had crazy snowfall for just under 24 hours of actual snowing time (no kidding!) but the wind is still blowing at 50mph gusts. Totally crazy and so so cold out there! Sorry about my pajamas reflected in the window, [...] Our first snow of the season hit us (I’m not counting the sprinkling we got a few weeks ago) and what a storm this is! It has been deemed a blizzard now and there are whiteout conditions out there – which I can totally attest to as hubby and I went to see a movie [...] |
