Although I haven’t been knitting as much as I would like to be (I’m lucky if I get 15 minutes to knit a day), I am picking up the needles more often than not and am slowly (and I do mean SLOWLY) but surely making my way through a Color Affection shawl. So [...] The above is the reason I have for going away for so long this time (almost a month? wow!)… poor Hitchcock had another anal gland rupture and had to go through surgery not once, but twice! It was a very long, very arduous month for us with him and although we tried very hard [...] The long weekend is over for us over here in the US and although hubby and I managed to have a good time we were largely confined to stay within our home. Why? Poor Hitchcock’s anal gland ruptured once again (the first time happened last year) and although we got him into the vet for [...] After randomly picking the winners and contacting all of them, I thought it would take a few days to hear back from everyone. Wrong! Everyone was so excited to have won that I received responses from all six winners within 10 hours of sending the email. I love it when people are as excited as [...] |
