The above is the reason I have for going away for so long this time (almost a month? wow!)… poor Hitchcock had another anal gland rupture and had to go through surgery not once, but twice! It was a very long, very arduous month for us with him and although we tried very hard [...] The long weekend is over for us over here in the US and although hubby and I managed to have a good time we were largely confined to stay within our home. Why? Poor Hitchcock’s anal gland ruptured once again (the first time happened last year) and although we got him into the vet for [...] After randomly picking the winners and contacting all of them, I thought it would take a few days to hear back from everyone. Wrong! Everyone was so excited to have won that I received responses from all six winners within 10 hours of sending the email. I love it when people are as excited as [...] Yes, there is a Giveaway at the bottom of this post! So we’re officially in the Dog Days of summer! I always liked the wording of these hottest days of the season, although I always thought it was pretty ironic that they were named that as I have never heard of any dogs that [...] Yes, they arrived and they are beautiful! I bought these the day they started offering them (Dec. 19th if memory serves) and then had to wait more than a month for them to come as they were ridiculously backordered!
